Palaeolepidopterix is an extinct genus of small primitive metallic moths within the extant family Micropterigidae or extinct family Eolepidopterigidae, containing one species, Palaeolepidopterix aurea. It is known from the Late Jurassic (Oxfordian - Kimmeridgian) Karabastau Svita of Kazakhstan.
