Paddy McConigley is a former Gaelic footballer who played inter-county for Donegal and London.He now plays for The Railyard Football Club in Kilkenny where he has won 2 Kilkenny senior county championship 2015,2016
He was a member of the Donegal team that won the 2007 National Football League, and started in the final against Mayo. Months later, while on a team bonding trip in Milford, he was shot in the eye and blinded. His vision never recovered and he never played for Donegal again.
He has one son.
