Packard Mayfair

The name Mayfair was applied to the early hardtop coupes built by the Packard Motor Corporation on the 1951-53 Senior body in order to keep in competition with Cadillac, Buick, and Imperial from Chrysler, whose hardtop sales were booming.

Mayfair hardtops were built up to and including the 1953 model year, succeeded for 1954 only by the Pacific.

Starting in 1955, Packard renamed its senior hardtop the Four Hundred.
