Pacific Conservation Biology is an academic journal dedicated to conservation and wildlife management in the Pacific region. The managing editor in currently Harry Frederick Recher.

It was established in June 1993 by Surrey Beatty & Sons, a private independent publisher.

The Society for Conservation Biology Board of Governors approved a Memorandum of Understanding promoting collaboration due to the similar interest of their organisation and Surrey Beatty.

Each issue includes:

  • a section of news and correspondence,
  • a forum with a key discussion paper and responses,
  • contributed papers that present high quality original research.
