Pa'lante

Pa'lante was a bilingual newspaper self-published by the Young Lords Party in New York City. The organization began publishing Pa'lante in May 1970.

Pa'lante (a contraction of "Para adelante", "Forward"), reported on the group's increasingly radical actions. Today, back issues of some of them are housed at DePaul University's Richardson Library Special Collection. A number of essays from Pa'lante are available in The Young Lords: A Reader.
