PER977 is a small molecule drug that is under investigation as a potential antidote for multiple anticoagulants, including factor Xa inhibitors, direct thrombin inhibitors, low molecular weight heparins and fondaparinux. It is being developed by Perosphere. In a study with rats treated with rivaroxaban, apixaban and dabigatran, PER977 decreased bleeding by over 90%.
