The Oregon State Beavers women's basketball team represents Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. The Beavers' official colors are orange and black. They are a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Division I, and the Pac-12 Conference. The team's home venue is Gill Coliseum, which seats 9,604. The Beavers have made nine appearances in NCAA Tournaments, most recently in 2017. The current head coach is Scott Rueck, assisted by Jonas Chatterton, Mandy Close, and Eric Ely.

Program history

The program in its current state began in the 1976, although a women's basketball team had existed at the school in some capacity since 1898 (when the school was Oregon Agricultural College). The team posted a 5–20 record its first official year in 1976–77. From the 1940s through the 1970s, basketball had existed as a club under Oregon State's Women's Recreation Association (WRA). At of the outset of the 2016–2017 season, the team's overall record was 612-555.
