The Oread Limestone is a geologic formation of the Shawnee Group exposed in Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Iowa. The type locality is Mount Oread within Lawrence, Kansas. It preserves fossils dating back to the Carboniferous period.
