The United Kingdom's Mosaic nuclear test series was a group of 2 nuclear tests conducted in 1956. These tests followed the Operation Totem series and preceded the Operation Buffalo series.
At the time of the Royal Commission Into British Nuclear Testing in Australia (1984–85) there emerged a claim that the second 'Mosaic' test on 19 June 1956 was of a significantly higher explosive yield than suggested by available figures: 98kt as compared to 60. But this claim does not appear to stand up to investigation.
