"One Day in September" is a song written and performed by Australian musician Mike Brady.
It is a large part of the tradition of Australian rules football, and refers to the AFL Grand Final - a game which is played on the last Saturday in September.
The song was renamed during 2016 AFL Grand Final to "One Day in October" due to the Grand Final being played on the first Saturday of October.
