The Olympian Swim Club is a competitive swim team based in Edmonton, Alberta and its surrounding area, founded in 1974. In 1980 the club hosted a swim meet in honor of the Province of Alberta's 75th anniversary. The club has been hosting major provincial and national championship meets since the early 1980s. It has also sent swimmers to international meets since the 1970s. The team trained swimmers that eventually went on to the Olympic Games include Stephen Badger (1976 Olympic team), and Morgan Knabe. Head coaches for the club have included Don Packer. In 2007 the club launched a complaint against the City of Edmonton that the city had not accommodated its members during the renovation of its home pool.
