Oluremi Oyo OON (12 October 1952 – 1 October 2014) was a Nigerian veteran journalist and former managing director of News Agency of Nigeria.

Early life and Career

Remi Oyo was born in 1954 in Ilorin, Kwara State, north central Nigeria. She attended the University of Lagos earning a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and Journalism. She was the spokesperson to chief Olusegun Obasanjo, the former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (2003-2007). She died in the United Kingdom on October 1, 2014, after losing a battle with cancer She was laid to rest at the Yaba Cemetery, Lagos
