Odontophrynus achalensis (common name: Cordoba escuercito) is a species of frog in the family Odontophrynidae. It is endemic to central Argentina and known from the Pampa de Achala and Sierra de Comechingones, Córdoba Province. Its natural habitats are montane grasslands and rocky outcrops therein. Breeding takes place in permanent streams. This rare species is threatened by habitat fragmentation and possibly fires.
