OWEC Tower AS is a Norwegian company established in 2004. They design foundations for offshore wind turbines and are leading within the steel jacket type.

OWEC Tower AS has designed foundations for the following offshore wind farms (OWF):

  • Beatrice in 2006. 2 two foundations at 45 meter water depth for Talisman Energy
  • alpha ventus i 2009. 6 foundations at 29 meter water depth for DOTI (Vattenfall, E.ON and EWE)
  • Ormonde in 2010. 30 foundations at 21 meter water depth for Eclipse, ODE (Vattenfall)
  • Thorntonbank Wind Farm in 2011-2012. 48 turbine foundations and one foundation for an offshore transformer station (OTS) at 27 meter water depth for C-Power
  • The largest owner in OWEC Tower AS is the Keppel Group with its subsidiary KV Ventus.
