ORS Direct is a pure play etail company, specializing in outdoor sports equipment, including cross country skiing, telemark skiing, cycling, baby transport, camping, hiking, vehicle racks and snowshoeing.
The company was founded in 1996 in Montpelier, Vermont. In 1997 the company set up niche marketing websites, to sell to consumers within single specialized categories. The company's current niche websites include ORS Cross Country Skis Direct, ORS Snowshoes Direct and ORS Racks Direct (vehicle rack systems).
