Tanner, is an American company that designs and helps implement global employee rewards and recognition solutions for clients in the U.S., Canada, India, Australia, Singapore and Europe. Counting numerous Fortune 100 companies on its client list, the company provides presentation training, administration, and awards for programs honoring employee service or performance. The company is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company also continues the tradition of its founder of allowing consumers to purchase some of the jewelry it offers to clients at either of two retail stores in Utah. The flagship store in Salt Lake City was recently relocated to the Old Hansen Planetarium, a building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tanner Labs

In 2014, O.C. Tanner opened Tanner Labs, a new research and development arm that functions as an internal think tank and incubator for creating and testing new products along with becoming a resource to startups and inventors in the Salt Lake Community. The main office of OC Tanner has onsite manufacturing, shipping and receiving department, call center and research and development. Whereas OC Tanner produces recognition gifts, awards and hardware for enterprise, Tanner Labs creates software, applications and other technology for an enterprise to utilize. One business application is Align, a mobile and desktop application that helps managers engage employees through one-on-ones. Another enterprise tool that Tanner Labs is currently working on is Welbe, a corporate wellness app to incentivize employee health.

Philanthropy

The company sponsors the O.C. Tanner Amphitheatre run by Dixie State College in Springdale, Utah, just south of Zion National Park.

The company also helped fund Linacre College, Oxford, where there is a building named after the company.
