Nucula delphinodonta, or the dolphin-tooth nut shell clam, is a marine bivalve mollusc in the family Nuculidae. It can be found along the Atlantic coast of North America, ranging from Labrador to Maryland. Nucula delphinodonta is a small form, seldom growing to be more than 4mm. in length, and as it lives below low tide-mark it is not very well known by collectors. It individually living under very different conditions; in proctected places, and exposed to the open sea, and form a ncar low-tide mark to a depth of several fathoms.
