Nu Microscopii is a star in the constellation Microscopium. It is an orange giant star of spectral type K0III; the apparent magnitude is 5.13. Located around 230 light-years (72 parsecs) away from the Earth, it shines with a luminosity approximately 50 times that of the Sun and has a surface temperature of 4834 K.

It was first catalogued as Nu Indi by the French explorer and astronomer Nicolas Louis de Lacaille in 1756, before being reclassified in Microscopium and given its current Bayer designation of Nu Microscopii by Gould.
