Andy Kellman of AllMusic says Now! 58 is "among the slightest Now volumes of the mid-2010s." While including six top-ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, the set "quickly slides into selections that peaked within or just outside the Top 40." The tracks by Taylor Swift and Ellie Goulding "seem to be present more for the names of the artists than the popularity of the songs."
