Now That's What I Call Music! 28 or Now 28 was released in 1994. The album is the 28th edition of the (UK) Now! series. It was released on vinyl, audio cassette & CD formats. The original, non-remixed versions of both "U R the Best Thing" by D Ream and "Caught in the Middle" by Juliet Roberts were featured on Now 25 the previous year. The original 4 Non Blondes version of "What's Up" featured on that album also, whilst on this album it's the DJ Miko cover of the song.

Now 28 features three songs which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart: "Love Is All Around", "Inside" and "The Real Thing (Tony Di Bart song)".
