The Northern California Innocence Project (NCIP) is a legal aid organization based at the Santa Clara University School of Law in Santa Clara, California. They work to revisit convictions of people believed to be innocent of their crimes. At least 11 people's convictions have been overturned due to their work. They are part of the national Innocence Project network of similar organizations. NCIP was founded in 2001 by current director Kathleen M. Ridolfi, who also co-founded the Innocence Network in 2004.
