In summer, diverse wildflowers bloom beside North Tenmile Creek Trail. In the open meadows, aster, mouse ear, paintbrush (Castilleja), Parry Clover (Trifolium parryi), and avalanche lily (Erythronium grandiflorum) bloom. Alpine wildflowers cover the rock ledges, including sky pilot (Polemonium viscosum); Parry lousewort (Pedicularis parryi); alpine Smelowskia (Smelowskia calycina); spotted saxifrage (Saxifragaceae bronchialis); moss campion (Silene acaulis subacaulenscens); and alpine forget-me-not (Myosotis alpestris).
