The North East Premier League is the top level of competition for recreational club cricket in the North East of England, serving the counties of Durham, Northumberland and Tyne and Wear. Since 2000 it has been a designated ECB Premier League.

The most successful team has been South Northumberland Cricket Club who have been champions on ten occasions, including six consecutively between 2003 and 2008.

The competing teams for 2015 are: Benwell Hill, Blaydon, Chester-le-Street, Durham CCC Academy, Gateshead Fell, Hetton Lyons, Newcastle, South Northumberland, South Shields, Stockton, Tynemouth, and Whitburn.
