Metropolitan population in North eastern region of Brunei is about 303,000. Bandar Seri Begawan is the largest city. Jerudong is the second largest, Gadong Town is the third most populous. Berakas Town is the fourth most populous but the smallest in terms of population. 59% of the population are Malays, 34% are Chinese and 7% are expatriates.
Metropolitan population in South western region of Brunei is about 91,900. Kuala Belait is the largest town. Seria is the second largest. 46% of the population are Malays, 44% are Chinese and Europeans and 10% are expatriates.
