Norby Roque Salonga is a multi-awarded Filipino youth leader public speaker, development practitioner, researcher, writer, and entrepreneur
He is a staunch advocate of good governance and inclusive education and currently spearheads advocacy groups called Youth for Good Governance and Iam4Education.
Some of his national awards include the Gat Apolinario Mabini Awards, Game Changer of World Youth Alliance, President of the Year (3rd runner up) by the Junior Achievement of the Philippines, Inc., Young Social Innovator of Social Enterprise World Forum, and Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines-NCR by the Commission on Higher Education and RFM Corporation.
As a development practitioner, he became part in the implementation of various programs in the sectors of transportation, education, health, and local economic development with support from international organizations like the Rockefeller Foundation, Samsung Dream Scholarship Foundation, Korea International Cooperation Agency, and Community Chest of Korea, among others.
