Nogacom's NogaLogic software product is based on a data classification (data management) platform which identifies and classifies unstructured data based on the specific business terms and concepts used by each specific company — including its customers, partners, products, locations, contacts and employees. The classification is done using natural language processing technologies, including Information Extraction and in specific named entity recognition.Through this data classification technique, NogaLogic creates a virtual information repository where data can be centrally analyzed, managed and secured - irrespective of the data's location, name, or native method of access. The NogaLogic product can be used for information management, information governance, information assurance, Data Loss Prevention , PCI DSS, Electronic Document and Records Management, electronic discovery and other information management and governance related projects.
Nogacom's R&D Center is in Israel and the company has offices across Europe.
In March 2010 NogaLogic won Initiative Mittelstand's Innovation IT 2010 Award at Cebit, Hanover, Germany.
