Meaning “You wouldn't be in trouble if you don't do anything unnecessary.”, The phrase was half-translated over to Chinglish where it retained one of its Chinese characters in pinyin. "No zuo no die" and "long time no see" are similar in grammatical structure. The 'zuo' here means asking for unnecessary trouble.
