Career

Apart from playing in punk hardcore bands, Nicholas O'Grady also hosted two radio shows in the early 2000s at SWRFM. Beneath the Remains was a radio show focusing on Metal and Hardcore music. After he left Beneath the Remains he started Unhinged which was a show dedicated to Punk and Hardcore music.

O'Grady was the vocalist of a Western Sydney Hardcore band Flame the Fire which started in May 2005. They went on to support Shinto Katana, Die Trying, The Dead Walk!, Miles Away, The New Justice Team and Anti Nowhere League. The band disbanded in 2009 and reformed in 2011 for a one-off reunion show.

He is currently the front man for both Nice Guys and Epics. Nice Guys is his "very pissed-off art" punk/hardcore band and have gone on to support La Dispute, Un Quarto Morto (Italy), Graf Orlock, Dangers and Heavy Heavy Low Low. On the flip side he also fronts another Sydney band, Epics, a dirty punk rock band in the vein of OFF! They have supported Lungs, The Optionals, Grim Fandango, Between the Devil and the Deep and Night Hag.

Nick is also the face of Sensis Digital Media, working as a Campaign Manager and looking after media agency OMD.
