Van Quyet has scored 8 goals in 15 appearances for Hanoi T&T in AFC Club competitions. He helped them reach the quarter-finals of the 2014 AFC Cup for the first time in their history.

Quyết was born 27 June 1991 at Thạch Thất, Hà Tây Province, the youngest of six siblings.
International career

On 12 November 2011, Van Quyet netted a quick-fire 13-minute hat-trick to lead Vietnam U23 to a thumping 8-0 victory over Brunei U23 at the 2011 SEA Games.
