Nextcat is an entertainment industry-focused social networking website. Nextcat, Inc. is a privately held Delaware corporation founded in September 2005 and launched in April 2006. Company Information
Nextcat, Inc. was founded by Berklee College of Music alumni Jeff Pucci and Richard Viard, long-time business partners who created the first-ever shipping title for the Microsoft Multimedia PC (Composer Quest, 1991) under a development partnership called Virtual Entertainment, Inc. Messrs Pucci and Viard later founded an early e-commerce company called SmarterKids.com (Nasdaq-listed IPO in November, 1999), which was subsequently sold to a Monterey, CA-based school supply firm called Excelligence Learning Corp in April, 2001.
