History

Established in the years of the political transition, Nexon specialized in payroll. Its major product was a payroll software application developed by Szilárd Ocskay in 1985, which, right at the start of the company, was used by 70 large companies and institutions, including KSH (Hungarian Central Statistical Office), APEH (Hungarian Tax Authority) and MTA (Hungarian Academy of Sciences)

1990s

In 1992, the company improved its software applications. As a result, the second generation Berenc software integrated payroll, social security and labour related tasks. The initial personnel record keeping grew into a comprehensive human resources management system. Working time data was originally recorded manually, which was developed into an integrated access control and time and attendance system.

2000s

In 2004, Nexon launched its third generation applications running in integration with one another on a Windows platform In addition to Nexonhr and Nexontime software, the recruitment and selection application called Nexonjob was developed, and so was the training and development application named Nexontd and the performance management software called Nexonpm. The company included training in its portfolio, bringing Nexonedu into life, which is an accredited adult education and exam centre.

2010s

In 2011, Nexon started developing its fourth generation software, where the focus is on HR supporting business needs (workforce management and optimization), with in-house servicing taken over by employee and management self-service solutions. Cloud-based service, mobile access and community media possibilities are gradually getting integrated into Nexon's new products.
