Newton's Crossing was a small settlement on the Stockton – Los Angeles Road in Merced County, California, United States, at its crossing on the Chowchilla River. Its location marked the southeast corner of the official boundary of Merced County.

Newton's Crossing was owned by William F. Newton who also owned a house and 160 acres of land there on the north side of the Chowchilla River and with improvements and stock, valued at $2260 in 1857.
