New York Journal of Books (NYJB) is a free online book review site established in 2009.

New York Journal of Books was founded by Ted Sturtz and its publisher is Lisa Rojany Buccieri. Its reviewers are largely traditionally published authors, but also include unpublished professionals who review books in their areas of expertise. NYJB's reviewers have included National Book Award finalist, Beth Kephart; author William Martin (novelist); Pulitzer-winning journalist and author William Dietric; romance novelist Eloisa James; Aphrodite Jones, Jon Land; and Sam Millar; and others.

According to the website, "The publication of a book is like the proverbial silent tree falling in the forest...and the reviewer's job is to tell the world.".
