The New South Wales University Theatrical Society (NUTS) is the leading student society for the production of theatre at the University of New South Wales. Established in 1985, NUTS presents seven productions a year including a major production (traditionally a musical), all of which are directed, designed and performed by students.

The home base of NUTS productions is Studio One UNSW, a black-box theatre seating 60 people, with the major musical held annually at NIDA Playhouse Theatre. NUTS also runs a range of workshops and events across the year, including collaborations with the Creative Practice Lab (CPL) and weekly script writing and fortnightly script-analysis sessions.

NUTS chooses plays and major productions based on a proposal system, which is administered and assessed by the Committee voted in by members at the Annual General Meeting each year.
