New Guard is the seventeenth and final novel in the CHERUB series by Robert Muchamore, and the fifth and final book in the Aramov series.
Plot
James, Lauren, Bruce, Kyle, and Ryan rescue two hostages from inside Islamic State territory; Kerry leaves her job to join them but doesn't go on the mission because of an injury. They fight deep in Islamic State territory where they eventually rescue the hostages and eventually get away via a hi-tech military invention. Later, Kerry announces that she and James are expecting their first child.
