The New Firm is a Danish football rivalry between the two big teams, Brøndby IF and F.C. Copenhagen. The name is a play on the Old Firm rivalry that exists between the two Scottish football teams, Rangers and Celtic. The term New Firm is also used in Scotland to refer to two clubs from the east of Scotland, Aberdeen and Dundee United, due to their challenging the Old Firm's traditional dominance of the game in Scotland during the 1980s.
