Neptis occidentalis, the mountain sailer, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Nigeria, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. The habitat consists of montane and riparian forests.
