Negro Crossing is a populated city with its location in Tom Green County, Texas, United States located along the Middle Concho River. The location is now on the lake bed of Twin Buttes Reservoir. The origin of the name is obscure. The name was collected by the United States Geological Survey between 1976 and 1979, and entered into the Geographic Names Information System on November 30, 1979.
