Neelkanth temple is a Hindu temple in the Rajgarh tehsil, in Alwar district, Rajasthan, India. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva (Neelkanth is one of the name given to Shiva). It is situated in an isolated hill near the Sariska National Park, and can be reached only by a steep track in bad condition. It was built between the 6th to the 9th century CE. It was built by Maharajadhiraja Mathanadeva, a local Pratihara feudatory.

Naugaza Digambar Jain temple
A Jain temple was situated nearby at Naugaza. All that is left is a gigantic statue of Jain Tirthankara Shantinatha, in a Digambara style. Height: 5.33 m. An inscription in the National Museum records that the temple dedicated to Shantinatha was built on the 13th day of the dark half of Baisakha in the year VS 979 (AD 922-23) during the reign of Gurjara-Pratihara ruler Mahipala I Deva of Kannauj by the architect was Sarvadeva of Simhapadra.
