Nawton is a suburb in western Hamilton in New Zealand. Nawton was named after the small North Yorkshire Township of Nawton on the A170 near Helmsley in Ryedale District, and was the place in Yorkshire where the Family of Edward Exelby , one of the early settler farmers in the Rotokauri area originated. ==References==area
