The Major League Soccer's National Sales Center (NSC) is a ticket sales training program in Blaine, Minnesota. The NSC began in 2010, and was the first ticket sales training program operated by a professional sports league in the United States. It aims to teach the fundamentals of ticket sales for the clubs of Major League Soccer.During their time at the National Sales Center, trainees sell tickets for a variety of active MLS clubs, gaining experience working with numerous markets while also getting the opportunity to work closely both with past alumni working the Major League Soccer, as well as the current chief ticket officer of those clubs as well. Trainees who successfully complete the program are then interviewed for sales positions at MLS clubs around the league in the United States. The NSC hosts annual sessions in January, July, and September. Each of these sessions last from 2–5 months for each trainee, depending on their progress in the program. Trainees who have graduated through the program span across 19 different clubs in the MLS, accounting for over 130 hires.
