History
National Public School was founded in 1986 when some of the society well wishers, on looking educational backwardness of the area, came together irrespective of social differences in religion,caste that were prevailing at that time, and made a trust "National Public School Society " and thought to have an educational institutution for the area. It was the first English medium school of the town. It was only after the establishment of National Public School that the world class knowledge started flowing to the Baheri region and with the continuous efforts of the National Public School Staff and active involvement of Trust Members, in a very short span of time it has started producing students with multiple talents.
National Public School has one junior branch in Teacher's colony near Kesar Sugar factory in Baheri.
In 2010 it celebrated its Silver Jubilee Celebration on successfully completing its bright 25 years of excellence and helping the area by giving education.
National Public School runs more than 15 buse with reach of around 30 kilometers circle.
Activities
National Public School balances the studies with the Co-curricular activities. The school organises Annual Sports Meet which held the Inter School Competition. It also holds the Intra School Competition in various activities like handwriting, drawing, mehendi, debate, quiz, etc. The students are divided into four colour houses i.e. Red, Blue, Green, Yellow. The students wear these colour shirts mainly on Saturday and have various co-curricular activities onn this day. The school has the Student Cabinet also in which School Head Boy and Head Girl and students for various other posts are elected by the school staff annually.
