National Heritage Foundation of Bangladesh is a civil society group in Bangladesh. Led by Rizwan Bin Farouq, convener of the foundation, it was formed in 2007.

The aim of the group is to promote and preserve Bangladeshi culture and heritage. The foundation identified a number of sites across the country that require special attention for preservation and protection. It also wanted to add ten more Bangladeshi sites to the World Heritage Sites declared by UNESCO, of which Bangladesh has three – the Sundarbans, Somapura Mahavihara at Paharpur and the Sixty Pillar Mosque at Bagerhat. The sites identified by the foundation include Kantaji Temple, Mahasthangarh, Ahsan Manjil, Sitakunda and Madhabkunda waterfall, among others.

The Bangladesh Heritage & Ethnic Society of Alberta (BHESA) is a heritage foundation and cultural hub of Bangladesh based in Alberta, Canada that is registered as a not-for-profit community association. Its mission is to preserve, promote and celebrate Bangladesh culture and heritage.

Since 2009, the Heritage Society has taken a leading role in the cultural movement abroad. BHESA has since continued to have a significant influence on heritage leadership and becoming a role model.

BHESA President and the Bangladesh pavilion chair (2015) Delwar Jahid sent a message to the heritage magazine with the comments that ... "the Bengali community, is dedicated to showcase our inherited traditions, arts, literature, architecture, dance, drama, music, objects, and monuments, which define rich culture of Bangladesh". Edmonton Heritage Festival celebrates 40th anniversary this year in 2015. Bangladesh Pevilion had presented its culture, Daily ProthomAlo of Bangladesh reports on the event on August 6, 2015.^

The Bangladesh Canada Association of Edmonton (BCAE)[ ]established in 1979 as a cultural, social and non-profit organization that services primarily to the people of Edmonton who immigrated from Bangladesh, descendant of the Bangladeshi immigrants, and to those who have interests in art, culture, people and society of Bangladesh. Its mission is to preserve, promote and celebrate Bangladesh cultures in Edmonton.

Muktijoddha Sangsad, Canada, executive and Pressclub of Alberta president Delwar Jahid [] called upon all organizations of expatriate Bangladeshis to celebrate the traditional festival to uphold Bangladesh’s cultural heritage before the world as ‘Mangol Shovajatra’ has earned the UNESCO recognition as world heritage. “It is a great pride for the Bangalee nation as our traditional Mongol Shovajatra has earned the UNESCO recognition,” he added. Delwar Jahid also underscored the need for upholding the non-communal national entity and peaceful co-existence of people irrespective of caste and creed before the entire world. President Dr. Motiur Rahman, Dr. Mosfiqur Rahman, IT Engr.Melvin Mondol and from Bangladesh Heritage Society of Alberta Mashod Bhuiyan, V.P Fisal Bhuiyan, and Ex. General Secretary Ahsan Ullah. ... "the Bengali community in Edmonton, is dedicated to showcase their inherited architecture, traditions, arts, literature, drama, dance, music, objects, and monuments, which define it's rich culture in establishing Bangladesh Centre, Bangla School, Music School, and Heritage Festivals. [] The Premier of Alberta Rachel Notley []greeted the Bangladeshi nationals in Alberta on the occasion of Amar Ekushey. In a message, greeting Bangladeshi people she said, "The mother language of the Bengali culture is a crucial part of the history and traditions you share with our province".

Speakers at a Joint Meeting of leading Bangladeshi associations of Edmonton said that the community must emphasizes on ensuring united and quality services to achieve the objectives of community development and uphold the spirit of our liberation in abroad.
