It was created in April 2013 in Paris by Prince Reza Pahlavi. Half of the 20,000-plus people who signed its charter via the Internet immediately are inside Iran. Arab community in Iran protested that on the question of ethnic rights, the National Council of Iran's charter is little different from the Islamic Republic's constitution. The National Council of Iran (Showraye Melliye Iran) has the ambition to represent an alternative to the Islamic Republic and become the most vocal Opposition group.
