The National Association of Assistant U.S. Attorneys (NAAUSA) is a professional association founded in 1993 to represent the interests of Assistant U.S. Attorneys—front line federal prosecutors and civil attorneys representing the United States in civil litigation. The Association is managed by a Board of Directors from 17 regions across the country and 3 at-large directors. The Association has been involved in lobbying to improve retirement, pay, and other benefits for AUSAs and also public policy issues including grand jury reform, federal sentencing reform, and updating the Electronic Communications Privacy Act.
