The National Advertising Benevolent Society (NABS) is a multi-tiered support system established for Canadian professionals in the communications and advertising industry. It's a support system for those that face personal, career and family challenges due to illness, injury, unemployment or financial difficulties.

The Society was founded in 1983, and is the only charitable organization in Canada that supports all professionals in the communication and advertising industry. All support services through NABS have been 100% funded through events, donations, and the support of individuals and organizations through volunteer, in-kind and financial contributions.

With big support in the communications industry and related sectors it's expected that NABS receives support from larger firms and organizations. Aldo Cundari, founder and CEO of Cundari Group spent a 2-year term as chair for NABS in 2007. “NABS’ biggest need is funds,” says Cundari. “We’re trying to grow the ‘Friends of NABS’, and are looking for 100 companies and individuals to donate.” Cundari personally donated $25,000 to NABS, and it is his agency’s charity of choice.
