Nathan Spencer (born 5 January 1991 in Pontefract, Yorkshire, England) is a rugby union player for Selby RUFC Nathans position of choice is centre. However more recently Nathan has taken up the position of Stand Off at Selby RUFC.

Nathan started his career playing rugby league at Castleford Panthers and won the managers players of the year or players player of the year award for three years running. He played alongside Joe Westerman who now plays professionally for Hull Fc.

Nathan switched to rugby union at high school, where in 2007 the Kings High School lost in the Yorkshire Cup Final with Nathan being named man of the match. The team included Bradford Bulls player Daniel Addy and Wakefield Wildcats player Russ Speirs.

Nathan also represented the men's open age team at Pontefract from the age of 16 and played alongside ex professional and Barbarians player Derek Eaves.

Nathan represented Central Yorkshire in two games later that year.

Nathan then moved to Selby RUFC where he has played in all 5 of their teams from the 5th team to the 1st team. Nathan plays here currently.
