Narimanovsky District (Russian: Нарима́новский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the eleven in Astrakhan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 6,100 square kilometers (2,400 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Narimanov. Population: 45,457 (2010 Census); 44,077 (2002 Census); 43,332 (1989 Census). The population of Narimanov accounts for 25.3% of the district's total population.
