Nargiz Orujli-Samadova (born 14 October 1986, Baku, Azerbaijan) is a pianist and piano teacher, who currently resides in Nuremberg, Germany.

Biography

In the years 1997–2005 Nargiz studied piano in BulBul School of Music.

In 2008 graduated from the Uzeyir Hajibeyov Baku Academy of Music. While still a student, Nargiz appeared with Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra in different concert programs which took place in Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall and other concert halls in Baku. She won a number of prestigious piano competitions and was awarded the BYGPA (Businessmen to Young Gifted Persons of Azerbaijan) Fund Scholarship.

In 2006 Nargiz participated in the Cultural Exchange Program in the U.S. - in Washington, D.C., and Chicago. She appeared in the Kennedy Center, Washington and in several educational institutions.

By Mrs. Laura Bush’s invitation Nargiz appeared in the White House reception conducted by the Global Cultural Districts Network, which is documented on the White House website.

Being in Washington, she participated in Liza Yemenkheyzer’s Master class.

In the years of 2008-2010 Nargiz studied in Nuremberg Music Academy - Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg with the professor G.Rozenberg.

In 2010 she started appearing in concerts programs in Germany, as a pianist and accompanist. At the same time she began her career as a piano teacher – both as a private teacher and as a teacher in schools of music. She taught piano in “Git.art.M-place of Music” in Marloffstein, Germany.

At present Nargiz is teaching piano in Eibach School of Music and in Johannis Academy of Music in Nuremberg, Germany.

She also continues performing as a pianist and accompanist in Europe and in Azerbaijan. In May 2016 she appeared as an accompanist in Javid Samadov’s recital in Montenegrin National Theatre., to mark both - 25 years of Azerbaijan Independence and 10th anniversary of Montenegro Independence.

In August 2016 she participated in VIII International Music Festival in Gabala (Azerbaijan).

Nargiz lives in Nuremberg with her husband, an opera singer Javid Samadov and their son.
