This constituency covers the seat Nagda, former seat Khachrod, Ajimabad-Pardi, Banbani, Banvada, Bercha, Bhilsuda, Kalsi, Kilodiya, Nipaniya, Nayan, Simrol Patwari and Tuttiakhedi. Ujjain Uttar is part of Ujjain (Lok Sabha constituency) along with seven other Vidhan Sabha segments covers the entire Ujjain district and part of Ratlam district.
